Monica Barrow DeSilva is a respected figure in the Jamaican media landscape, with a robust career spanning nearly five decades. She kick-started her professional journey at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, where she served as Program Coordinator from 1986 until 1991. Monica's expertise in coordinating engaging programming set the foundation for her influential role in the industry.

In 1991, Mrs DeSilva transitioned to CVM Television, where she held the position of Editor and Librarian until her retirement in 2017. Her dedication to quality journalism and her commitment to preserving the history of media through her library work have made significant contributions to the organization.
