After three years of dedication at JIS, he took a significant step forward by joining the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC), where his skills began to shine.
In 1998, the Reggae Boyz made history by securing a place in the World Cup Finals with a relentless 0-0 draw against Mexico at the National Stadium. This remarkable achievement marked the first time an English-speaking Caribbean country earned a spot among the world's top 32 footballing nations. Leon was there, camera in hand, capturing the exhilaration and emotion of this monumental occasion. His journey continued as he was assigned to travel to France, documenting the Reggae Boyz' performance at the World Cup, solidifying his reputation as one of Jamaica's most talented and sought-after videographers.

Searching for new challenges, he transitioned to CVM TV, where he honed his skills as a Technical Director and Supervisor.
