Beyond her professional achievements, Pat Lazarus is also deeply committed to her community in Rock Hall, St. Andrew. She actively advocates for local educational initiatives and has successfully raised funds for the construction of additional classrooms at a local school. She founded the Explorers Club, an environmental group designed to engage youth in exploration and learning about Jamaica's diverse parishes. Her dedication to environmental conservation is exemplified by her role in securing sponsorship for the Tree House at the Hope Zoo in Kingston, known as the Tropical Learning Centre (TLC), which serves as an educational hub for promoting natural environment conservation.

Her contributions to media and volunteerism earned her the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer from the Government of Jamaica in 2020. Patricia Pat Lazarus continues to use her influence to advocate for vulnerable members of society, leaving a lasting legacy of positive impact in both media and her community.
