Phillip Hamilton is a respected media professional who has made substantial contributions to Jamaican journalism and corporate communications. His journey began at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC) as a television reporter, where he quickly established a reputation as a credible voice in the media landscape. 


With an impressive and diverse portfolio, Hamilton excelled as a Corporate Communications Manager at Cable & Wireless Jamaica for over 13 years. In this role, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s public image and communications strategy, demonstrating his ability to navigate the intricacies of corporate storytelling.

Hamilton's journalistic expertise extends beyond his corporate role; he has also contributed as a freelance writer and reporter for esteemed publications, including The Gleaner and Jamaica Observer. This versatility highlights his unwavering commitment to producing quality journalism that resonates with the public. In 2008, he took on the role of Editor for the Ministry of Tourism, skillfully engaging with Jamaica’s rich cultural narratives to promote the island's tourism sector.


His passion for education and community involvement continued as he served as the Manager of Communications at the International University of the Caribbean, further solidifying his dedication to the growth and development of local communities. Phillip Hamilton's remarkable achievements in journalism and communications have crafted a compelling narrative within Jamaica's media industry, inspiring both his peers and aspiring journalists to tell their own stories with authenticity and passion.
