Beyond his media achievements, Keith was deeply committed to philanthropy, particularly in the realm of early childhood education. His efforts were acknowledged with the prestigious Order of Distinction, a testament to the positive changes he fostered in Jamaican society. As a founding president of the Public Relations Society of Jamaica (PRSJ), he played a crucial role in establishing standards for public relations practices and advocating for professional development in the field. Keith’s vision led to the introduction of the Caribbean Labour Journal, which aimed to bridge the gap between labour relations and organizational communication, offering valuable insights to various stakeholders.

His infectious enthusiasm and deep knowledge of sports earned him a reputation that extended far beyond the screen. Alongside Michael Barnett, he co-founded MKB Productions, which brought the iconic Heineken Startime shows to life from 1995 to 2013. This series not only provided a platform for up-and-coming reggae artists but also celebrated Jamaica’s rich musical heritage, leaving an indelible mark on the entertainment landscape.
