A Pillar of Communication and Education in Jamaica
Dr. Rohan Lewis, a distinguished academic and devoted educator, has profoundly shaped the fields of communication and education in Jamaica. His educational journey commenced at Campion College, where he built a robust foundation that would support his future endeavours. He then advanced his studies at the University of the West Indies (UWI), refining his expertise and broadening his knowledge base.

Following the completion of his education, Dr. Lewis launched a professional career as a reporter with the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC). This role allowed him to gain invaluable experience in journalism, honing his communication skills. He later transitioned to the National Housing Trust, where he played a key role in several impactful projects. Recognising the importance of continuous learning, Dr. Lewis decided to deepen his academic knowledge through further studies.
Currently, Dr. Lewis serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Liberal Studies at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Additionally, he holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor of Language, Culture, and Society in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHHS). His unwavering commitment to education and research continues to make a lasting impact on both students and the wider community, solidifying his legacy as a leader in his field.
