Errol Lee is a distinguished Jamaican media veteran whose influential career has left an indelible mark on the landscape of broadcasting and music. With a solid educational foundation in mass communication from the University of the West Indies, Lee embarked on his remarkable journey at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC) from 1971 to 1983, where he served as a news anchor and news editor.

His dynamic presence later graced platforms like JIS-TV, Power 106 FM, and UWI Newstalk 93 FM, where he shaped public discourse with his trusted voice and unwavering commitment to factual reporting. In addition to his broadcasting accomplishments, Lee is the founder and lead vocalist of the band Bare Essentials, known for popularizing soca music in Jamaica. His pioneering spirit as both a performer and manager distinguishes him within the music industry, showcasing his multifaceted talents and passion for the arts.

Beyond his media and music endeavours, Lee is deeply committed to philanthropy and community service. He has actively supported various organizations, including the Kingston YMCA, Jamaica Cancer Society, and the Heart Foundation, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others. A past president of the Knox College Past Students Association and the Lions Club of Kingston, Lee has further showcased his leadership abilities by serving as District Governor for Lions Clubs International (Northern Caribbean) from 2016 to 2017. His exemplary service in these roles has earned him recognition as Vice District Governor for the Caribbean within the Lions Club.
