Elaine Wint is a powerful presence in Jamaican media, celebrated as a voice of consciousness and a transformative force in corporate leadership. Her journey began in 1969 when she participated in the groundbreaking television series 'Through Tomorrow’s Eyes'. After graduating from St. Andrew High School for Girls, she joined the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, making waves as Jamaica's first female television presenter with an afro on the show 'Where It’s At.'

Transitioning to radio in 1975, Elaine produced the influential program 'Taking Care of Business,' which played a crucial role in promoting Jamaican music and addressing social issues. Throughout her career, she hosted several major television programs, including 'Tuesday Forum,' earning her the affectionate title of 'Jamaica’s Oprah.'
Not only is Elaine a media powerhouse, she also actively engages with youth through her 'Breakthrough' workshops, empowering young leaders who now shape various sectors in Jamaica. An esteemed lecturer and award-winning professional, her work continues to inspire countless individuals and transform communities.
