Pioneering Excellence
Nadeen Campbell is not just a name; she’s a beacon of inspiration in the realms of media, education, and community engagement. Her illustrious career began with a groundbreaking moment: as Jamaica’s first female sportscaster in 1987, hosting Sports Update, a half-hour sports magazine programme showcasing Jamaica's history in the Olympic Games; anchoring the sports news and lead host and commentator during the 1988 Olympics at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC).
She captivated audiences alongside the legendary Lindy Delapenha and Ali McNab. She later became one of the beloved hosts of the Schools' Challenge Quiz, the English-speaking Caribbean's longest-running quiz show, showcasing her ability to connect with and empower young minds. While at JBC, Nadeen served as a prolific producer for the 30-minute magazine programme SEEN, host for Evening Time and JPSCo Update. She also served as continuity announcer, alternating with her grand-uncle and mentor, Dennis Hall.

Transitioning to Northern Caribbean University (NCU), Nadeen has held pivotal roles, including Manager, Director, and Assistant Vice President. In her current position as Director of Corporate and Community Relations & Strategic Partnerships, she forges transformative collaborations that elevate communities and foster progress. Known for her passion for customer engagement and empowerment training, Nadeen is a certified customer service professional who has pioneered significant initiatives in these areas, making a lasting impact on those she trains and mentors.
An accomplished academic, she holds a BSc (Hons) in General Science from the University of the West Indies and an MA in Media, Governance & Democracy from the University of Leicester in England. Beyond her professional achievements, Nadeen is a former athlete, excelling in lawn tennis, swimming, and 10-kilometer races. A committed Christian, she encourages others to know and love her creator, God.
