Archie Lindo (1908-1990) was a multifaceted Jamaican artist known for his work as a photographer, actor, author, playwright, and radio show broadcaster. He was one of the most successful Jamaican playwrights of the 1940s, and his photographs are part of the National Gallery of Jamaica collection.

Lindo received the Silver Musgrave Medal from the Institute of Jamaica and an Order of Distinction from the government for his contributions to the arts.

Lindo was also the first voice heard on Jamaica's first local station, ZQI, where he broadcast local programming, including performances by Louise Bennett and the Jamaica Military Band. His work at ZQI laid the foundation for future broadcasting in Jamaica, and he continued to be an influential figure in the arts throughout his career.
